The T.Don Hutto Residential Facility: A Concentration Camp

Ever wonder where immigrants arrested by the government end up?

According to Texas' Latina Lista, a blogger all over the immigration issue and then some, many end up in what she describes as a concentration camp in Texas. The attached photo is fro her story and it certainly looks like the pictures I've seen of the Japanese concentration camps in this country.

It's the T. Don Hutto Residential Facility (sounds like the name of a college dormitory doesn't it?) in Taylor, Texas.

Read Latina Lista and her Update on U.S. Concentration Camp for Immigrant Families on the concentration camp. Q: Is this the way to treat people that Americans induce over and trip over themselves to hire? And what about concentration camps, that is, residential facilities, for the millions of American co-conspirators--including the government itself????

America, this is what it's like when we stomp all over our own humanity. Is this really the best we can do?

BTW: I have never met Marisa Treviño, and while we're both Latino and come from very different places on the spectrum of life, we seem to be touching on many of these same themes in your respective blogs. I suspect that this is so because we're living in times when decent Americans need to pay close attention to what is being done on our behalf.

Thank you, Marisa, for your vigilance. You are a good American.
